Smithey Ironware Case Study

We partnered with Smithey Ironware to create a series of videos to be used for paid ads and organic social media. At the time, Smithey had a phenomenal social presence with a great combination of photo and video content. However, their paid ad library seemed to fall by the wayside as there were very few video advertisements. Given that video content has over a 3x higher click through rate than photo (meaning someone is 3 times more likely to click on a video versus a photo), we knew exactly how to help. We pitched Smithey on tons of different video ideas, specifically ads that their competitors were having success with. We then put our heads together on how improve these ads and give them that signature “Smithey Flair.” We created six different video ads and out of those six, one generated a 44 ROAS (return on ad spend), meaning for every $1 they put in, they got $44 back.
